Join us for the 2nd Annual Night Out for Safety and Liberation event co-hosted by the Faulkner County Library.

The Night Out for Safety and Liberation will be on August 2 from 5-8 pm at the Faulkner County Library.

The goals of this event are (1) to start discussions around public safety and community care; (2) to provide community resources and mutual aid assistance to our neighbors; and (3) to provide a platform for local organizations working for our community.

This event is for the whole family. We will have a designated children's area to provide age-appropriate conversations while the adults have their own discussion groups.

Here's the agenda for the evening: 

5:00 pm - 6:00 pm: Food and Music
6:00 pm - 6:30 pm: Speakers
6:30 pm - 7:30 pm: Guided Facilitation
7:30 pm - 8:00 pm: Event Debrief and Closing

Everything at our event will be free and open to the public. We affirm the principles of mutual aid and are working together in solidarity, not charity, to support our neighbors. The event will be a potluck, so make sure to bring a dish to share with allergies clearly listed.

School Supplies- notebooks, pencils, washable markers, crayons, folders, glue sticks
Car maintenance items- engine oil, transmission fluid, coolant, windshield wiper fluid
Summer packs- sunscreen, water, Gatorade, reusable bottles, bug spray, hats, umbrellas
