About the Presenter:
Helen Newberry is the Disaster Response attorney at the Center for Arkansas Legal Services. Before joining CALS in 2018, she was a member of the Reentry team at Our House Shelter. She received a Bachelor’s in Anthropology from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2010, and her Juris Doctor degree from the Bowen Law School in 2017. Ms. Newberry is a member of the Arkansas, Pulaski County, and Jefferson County Bar Associations. She has made numerous presentations on various legal topics, including criminal record sealing, end of life planning, and secondary trauma, as well as general civil legal aid topics for the public.
